Local area
East Scryne sits on the Angus coast between two seaside towns, both a short drive or bike ride away.
A friendly seaside town with a long sandy beach and the famous Carnoustie Golf Links, which have hosted The Open.
It has shops, cafés and a supermarket, and a railway station with trains to Dundee, Aberdeen and Edinburgh.
A historic harbour town, home of the Arbroath smokie and the ruins of Arbroath Abbey, where the Declaration of Arbroath was written in 1320.
It has a bigger choice of shops and supermarkets, cliff-top walks along the coast and its own railway station.
